Exhibition: Alzheimer's disease
10 panel exhibit
Alzheimer's Disease is not a normal stage in the ageing process. It is a disease in its own right which usually affects elderly people but can also strike those under 50.
People affected by Alzheimer’s lose their memory and bearings, leading to a breakdown in their social and family life. While we do not yet know how to cure this condition, we do have the knowledge to slow it down, particularly when it is treated early.
